Methodist Richardson Medical Center

Every year the Methodist Cancer Center has a gala event to raise awareness and support for the cancer center. For the past few years 617 has helped the Center with the video to be shown at the party. The focus has been to highlight one individual or family and show the impact that the Cancer Center has had on their lives.

The Cancer Center needed an efficient way to communicate an emotional story and promote the need to support the hospital, this project is the result.

Production Notes:
This project was shot primarily on location at the Methodist Cancer Center. We interviewed Mrs. Fortner at the Cancer Center, and utilized existing footage of the Cancer Center from previous years. This allowed this project to be completed at a lower cost since production for “b-roll” wasn’t as necessary.

We also shot a consultation with a doctor and patient and got candid interviews with them about their experiences at the Cancer Center.

Production Notes:
This project was shot on location at the Methodist Cancer Center and at the Nagel’s home. The interview was shot, then 617 crafted the story from the answers provided by Mrs. Nagel. It was a pure documentary style format of Lee’s story and her relationship with the Center.
